Caractéristiques du projet
Canada Claresholm 132 MW Solar Park, located Willow Creek, Southern Alberta, is equipped with 455,758 ASTRO modules mounted on fixed-tilt racking. Covering 1,280 acres of agriculture land, this project is expected to avoid approximately 149,000 tones of CO₂ annually and generate sufficient renewable power for around 33,000 households in Alberta. Under the terms of the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement), the majority of Claresholm’s power and associated emission offsets are sold to TC Energy. In addition to green energy, the project also has a positive impact on local employment by offering more than 350 full-time jobs during the construction period, and contributes C $35 million (US $28.21 million) in property tax revenue to the local economy over the life of the project.
